Summer solstice is just around the corner as it marks the beginning of fun in the sun and beach vacations. For me and my family, we started the season earlier on by taking a tropical get together in the island of Oahu for ten days last month. We all had such an amazing time unwinding and relaxing in a beachfront rental property. Part of the ease with this vacation was the way I organize ahead what to pack for a weeklong-plus trip. Here are a few of my key travel items for a surf and sand getaway.
A cute and comfy dress or romper is a must! Perfect for lunch by the beach or walking around town shopping! These 2 are one of my faves! And did I mentioned form meets function with those side pockets incognito???
Maxi dresses are another must have for a beach trip! It’s perfect for a dinner out under a night sky full of stars as the sea breeze billows my dress. I absolutely love it!! This specific one is TTS and very affordable! It also accentuates your curves the right way when the taste of the islands allures your appetite. HAHAH

Wearing light fabrics at the beach calls for a lady’s must-haves to include purses to stow away her personal trinkets. So what’s been the latest fashion buzz this season’s purses? In my opinion, straw bags and woven bags are a huge hit for Spring and Summer of 2019! This specific one became my go-to fave! It is so versatile and I just love the wooden handle accent and the textured details on this one!
To put the cherry on top of your ensemble, one must not forget these staple items. Accessories!!! Bold earrings, statement necklaces, and cute bangles! You name it!!
What better way to take good care of these adorable items is for me to purchase this accessory organizer on Amazon and I must say it is by far my fave compact travel organizer!! My necklaces did not get tangled. There are also compartments for my earrings, rings, and bracelets! It’s an absolute travel essential!
Also, don’t forget to put your beautiful face on with appropriate day and night time make up as you surround yourself with the beauty of the islands. To protect and organize my glam-face mini squads, here is my favorite make up organizer. Indeed, my makeups survived the six-hour flight from Los Angeles to Hawaii!! None of it broke, melted, caked off, or leaked! WINNING!
